I have a great product that once talked by an A-lister will become viral - but if that does not happen what is the easiests way to promote a PyDotCom affliate product? my new real product is OptInComments.com so far I have managed to get 5 affililiates according to PDC - but trying to get more - how to do this? I tried creating a contest on this issue but it did not seem successful as my other contests hmm lookin for ideas here
What is the payout? You may attract some people signing up with good payout. Try forums like abestweb.com (you are already on DP)
the payout is at 65% and at AbestWeb they disabled my acct for mentioning about optincomments in response to a thread about list buulding

I have contacted popular blogs and wordpress discussion groups on this, but it is hard to get in contact with a listers sometimes - as it may take days for a response
it takes time to gather affiliate, keep up on recruiting by contacting sites and bloggers in your industry ... if you build it they will come
The bottom line is that the page needs to convert! If it converts traffic will find its way there through exposure in the network and word of mouth. Keep testing and make sure you do everything on your end to maximize conversions. Do a PPC campaign and testing yourself so you will have very clear conversion dats when you are talking with prospective affiliates.
