Just registered my first domain

    I just registered my first domain. I was wondering if I could get some advice on good hosting services. I registered with godaddy, and I want the site to be a blog. So, I am looking for a good hosting service that has a good blog software installed. Also, affordable would be great also.

    I like Godaddy's hosting service, never had any issues with it. Host Monsters a good one aswell, I don't know much about blue host but they are really popular aswell. All 3 have good prices and a good reputation. You can always roll the dice with up and coming for an ever cheaper rate.

    Hostmonster and Bluehost are the same company ;) I don't recommend using godaddy for your hosting.

    I also don't like Godaddy hosting, Their customer service is very poor when we have a problem. I recommend Hostgator to host your web site. Service in excellent and super good for newbies.

    I don't like Godaddy... it lacks support...

    I used Hostgator for over 2 years and i never had major problems with them. You can also find coupons and have the first month free.

    GOdaddy is good for buying and managing domains, The big name does nothing for hosting services.

    Congratz on first domain. Buying first domain is always an special occation.

    You can use Hostgator or Monster both are good and both provides shared hosting account with Fantastico so you can easily install the latest version of Wordpress. If you are looking for more offers then go to Hosting section of this forum and you will find various offers from various hosting companies.

    I personally wouldn't recommend godaddy hosting, it was always slow for me. I hear hostgator is good though I've never tried it myself

    Dynodot is good for buying domain, i think u should buy u r next domain from them :)
    and abt hosting, even me too searching for a good hosting now.

    HostGator is good and they have discount !
    I like the Live Support
    HostMonster + BlueHost are good as well , I tried HM

    You will be able to insatll the WordPress blog which come in the cpanel
    , but I think it is better to upload your own WP .

    Great and congrats on the first domain name registered. Now, you could use godaddy for hosting or hostmonster. These are the two reliable ones that I use.
