I got an email in my Gmail inbox

 

Your Spam filter didn't catch it?

 

that's what I was thinking!

everyone always raves about the Gmail and the spam filtering capabilities therein

 

The other reason I was wondering is that it caught mine (but unfortunately I still have to check my Spam folder because occasionally it catches things that aren't spam )

 

I also got this email today I do not know how he could all those email addresses

 

Seems he is one guy who wishes to settle scores with DP by spamming and using fradulent means.

So it's pretty obvious why some got it and others didn't.

 

Well I also get this mail. I dont think so Our Admin sold the mail database. I found this in gmail spam folder.

collecting email addresses and selling them for advertising purposes is called spam no matter how you collect them - you can even write them manually - it's unsolicited advertising = spam

You can change the settings in your User CP so that you do not receive emails from other members. Look on the "Edit Options" page.

 

I'd be happy if this email was coming directly from this forum, but it's not sent via digitalpoint. That's the main reason, and my email was always hidden here if I'm not mistaken.

 

i got this email too, went straight to my spam folder, deleted it straight after i see it, had no idea it was someone from here.. Gonna Rep this User to the ground, and see if he is a membe of other forums on the internet (use google to search username) and them rep him down on those forums . Revenge!
