Just passed Google Adwords Professional Exam!

mmmmmm.... 15% Sounds good if you have BIG clients (not someone who spends £1 per day!)..

 

wow 15%? thats kinda high, unless you have proprietary tracking software, then I could see the value.

 

I failed the test a few weeks ago and next week im going to try it again.

what the. is this an online exam? totally open book? (internet)

 

it's an internet based multiple choice exam that you can sit anywhere, so in theory, yes it is an open book exam but that goes against the whole point of an exam now doesn't it!

 

How long does it take?

I have been meaning to do it for some time but not got around to it.

You say it is difficult, what sort of questions are they asking, can yu give us sme ideas??

 

I think it's either 45 mins or an hour but you shouldn't need all of the time

I didn't really think it was dfifficult - some of the Qs are a little confusing (in my exam there were at least 2 questions with more than 1 right answer!) but if you've read through the learning center and you've been using AdWords before then it shouldn't be an issue.

The questions are based around the sections in the learning center so you may have questions on editorial guidelines, keyword matching, scenario based questions, billing questions etc etc.

Try it, it's not that bad and you only need 75% to pass!

I'm from Holland and I take the exam in Dutch. That was a huge mistake since i followed the multimedia course in English and our adwords accounts are in English as well.

I think Google literrary translated the questions to Dutch and that confused me ALOT. I needed almost all the time available and I had a 70% result... It's really fucked up because our account is running already for about 5 years now and I couldnt be bothered learning about budgets and invoicing.

That's another mistake I won't make anymore. Im going to do the exam again next week and I will be prepared for the full 100%!!!

 

Just passed the test as well and now displaying the logo on our website www.seo4china.com ; we will see if that helps increase sales. Will try to have one of my colleague pass it as well so that we can get the professional logo

 

To be honest Adriaan the English version still sometimes feels like it's been badly translated!!

 

Open book exams are a walk in the park, I had a few of these in the past exams ive been doing for my Chemical Engineering Degree, I didnt even bother revising and I got 80%+ pass rates. The internet is a lovely resource!
