Hello, I am getting about 1,000 page loads a day and 300-500 uniques on my site a day, but im not even earning a dollar. The site is in my signature. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? P.S The ad under the input box is widgetbucks that I am trialing on the site, so ignore that.
You mean in place of the link box? If I do that the design will look weird as it will cover the graphic to the left. Or do you mean above the graphic?
If i was you id try a big rectangle unit right in the middle of the blue area and remove the others but not the one on the right just the top and bottom the big rectangle units always do good and the link units least for me anyway.. And or mabye try different colors to make them stand out when they blend in to much some times people just over look them but if they are a bold color and stand out from the page ppl seem to wana click them more just to see what it is about..
Papa - I was having similar problems with Adsense for quite a while. My advice to you is this... don't sweat it. Adsense will never make up a bulk of your sites revenue anyway. Adsense just doesn't perform well on some sites, and no amount of tweaking will change that. You could just have one of those sites. I'm not suggesting that you throw in the towel. You need to play with location, colors, and size before you give up on it completely, but you need to keep in mind that it might never pan out for you. For a long time I focused on getting my Adsense ads in the perfect location, getting them to blend with the site, etc. After all of this trial and error, I still got little to no results... so I went the complete opposite direction.... I made the Adsense colors the opposite of my sites colors, closed them in with a box, and bam... my CTR shot up about 4%. This was very short-lived, and now Adsense is performing badly again... But my advice is to just experiment more, and if it doesn't work. Don't be afraid to remove Adsense in favor of other monetization methods.
Ads Placement is absolutely fine!! just add some pictures along with add unit to attract visitors attention toward this area ... what's your CTR?
