Where do you think the SEO industry is headed?

In my opinion it has just started. It's like the 1990 era for the .com's

 

Well, I think we are going so far it has been 18 years are gone and now competition is also so much so I don't think we just started
What other guys are think??

 

The SEO industry is certainly changing and improving with the new technology. I believed that SEO is a never ending process ,follow a set of steps in a formula and hope to achieve significant, lasting success in the SEO industry.

 

More competition will come up to rank and make a site available in top 10 for its keywords as every other day thousands of site crops ups to get a place in top 10.
So, seo has a bright future ahead as everybody wants to make their site available in top 10. And there is a huge demand for SEOs.

 

And getting ranking on SERPS become more difficult

 

Yeah! that's right. And Google keep on getting more revenue and market share.

 

Now SEO industry is very competitive

 

Now with web 2.0, SEO industry is geting very competitive now

 

it depends on what keyword u want to rank for..

 

I think that Do follow advice in particular will be the next big thing and we are already seeing Do Follow search enginees springing up.

 

At time when search engine were driving serious traffic!

 

I think search engines are gonna get 'smarter', i.e. provide more relevance to their search results.

So as long as you keep on keepin' on with building frsh content, you'll be alright!

SEO will become redundant.. and the only thing that will be useful and regarded is:

Good content

 

There will always be a way to optimize a site for search engines.

 

Exactly we need to update our content regularly and add fresh content as well

I'm agree that it's better to start as soon as possible to become a part of SEO industry

 

just like everything else does. There is always going to be updates to things in this world... SEO is not an exception.
