So I had just went and installed the Google Toolbar.. and guess what happened? It made my firefox crash upon startup and I felt screwed over so bad and was worried becuase I have so many bookmarks and passwords I would ***Ed litterally if I had to intall this.. So Went on to I.E..lol.. and started looking up stuff. and found that all the extension are in C://documentsandsettings/user/applicationdatat/mozilla/firefox/profiles and tryed finding the google toolbar extension and couldn't find so I just deleted everything in the folder. then firefox started up again like a fresh install.. Then I jsut re-imported the bookmarks.. and added back all the files.. except the folders and now firefox is like 10x faster..the page load fast..omg. I think I'll keep stumble upon and digg alexa and all the junk off my firefox now. P.s Don't do what I did that was act of desperation. LOL
Yeah, loads of extentions will slow FF down...common sense really. Ps I agree with ammoun, use Opera, it's so much faster. Although stumbleupon doesn't work with Opera (massive programming fault there).
just cause you installed a lot of extensions! my firefox is fast enough a good number of extensions =)
I have a number of extensions but my firefox is very fast. I guess, it all depends on the computer you are using...
