Oh now I get what you mean. Actually I did have "Welcome To My Lair" and it looked pretty good at first. A couple of people I showed it to said it was kind of odd for them to see anything but the standard "Welcome" or "Welcome to our site" in that area so I got rid of that and just put "welcome".

Now that you mention it though, I'll put it back up now and wait to see what people think... I just don't want to give the impression that the site is some sort of parody or something. Nobody's going to take it seriously if it looks like a joke right in the headline.

    Thanks for the suggestion again.

I know what you mean. I think writing your own site is THE HARDEST thing to do. It's funny how it's so crystal clear when you do someone else's but gets so freaking cloudy when you do your own.

You can play with the line and see what resonates. That is the beauty of the web versus print. It's also the killer, too, since you can never define when you're "done". But I like that you have a style and I thought it should show in the opener.

When I read my own post earlier I thought that it might not be very clear what I was saying. :D It sounded enormously critical and unclear. (I've had too many relatives in my house to think and write clearly.)

Yup it is kind of hard to write for my own site, what with me being overcritical of myself and all... Shouldn't be too much of a concern though because I need to focus on building some real content to show off without having to ask people for permissions.

    Thanks for the help.
