    i am new to CJ, i just launched my first CJ store www.thetoolkitshop.com using Joomla. want to hear some feedbacks from experienced cj users. I am quite excited about it.

    i have couple of questions for the cj users

    1. Will search engines index these pages?
    2. how do you promote your store?

    Your store looks nice. I made a tool shop site about 2 days ago using the same wingdings/webdings spanner and hammer ;)

    i am using a joomla components called cj catelog builder, which grabs the rss feeds of joined cj programms and store them in contents or virtualmart database of joomla.

    the logo is an icon from www.iconlet.com

    Nice site, but you should cloak url your affiliate link "Buy Now" or set it nofollow, to make it not like an affiliate site by Google spider.

    pogung177's suggestion of using nofollow is a good one.

    You might also want to change the 'onmouseover' for the links so the affiliate urls aren't so obvious.

    4 links are there in every product, there seems to be already some kind of redirection in it. the urls are like 'http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-2588004-10469170?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcj.shop.com%2Fop%2F%7EROLLING_GARDEN_TOOL_CART-prod-30860272-40214858%3Fsourceid%3D23&cjsku=40214858'
    which later changes to 'http://cj.shop.com/ROLLING_GARDEN_TOOL_CART_-30860272-40214858-p!.shtml'

    thanks for the advice i will add noflow in each links. i will have to install joomla moslate for that.

    I wonder if you could use a little bit more color to your site? You should hold a banner or website style contest and get all the talented graphic designers here at DP to jazz it up :rolleyes:

    thanks, i used a free template in it, though i earn my living designing/developing websites for others.:p
