Well I just joined COOP today and for a kick of I would like to thank the folks that have updated the ASP code version as I have now implemented it. I have 40k of weight which could be good? I dont know what that will pan out as regards results, also had an old site that I forgot about that I signed up and that had 5k of weight so I am up and running. I have a top 10 for most of my main keyword phrases however my killer one word keyword gives me a 33-37 ranking of late so I would really be impressed if that moved any. Also I would appreciate any users feedback on the recent Allegra update and whether any members have passed through this using the COOP unscathed and who feel their rankings were already improved by joining the COOP, therefore somewhat re-assuring me that it has only been of benefit for them and no penalties were incurred. I have always concentrated on building my site rather than backlinks of which I only have 283 (google) so we will see whether this partnership shall allow me to get the best of both worlds.
My personal advice would be to spread that weight up a lot then slowly increase the percentage s to the words you are targeting. We have seen major results with the network but they only account for part of our SEO. While you are spreading it around be sure to target some of your subpages too. The only thing better than being #1 is being #1 and #2!
Well my one word very competitive keyword just jumped +9 from 35 to 26 today and a couple of other 2-4 positions have moved up to 1-3 so initial signs look like the coop may be making a nice difference.
I wouldn't look too closely at the numbers right off the bat. I started up just a couple of weeks ago w/ a 40k+ weight, and have had -many- KW's jumping up and down...w/ some starting to settle in now. A top 10 would disappear, then next day it's right back -- or even up a few spots.

40k of weight has helped get me in the top 5 of the three major sites for a competitive phrase, and I am slowly climbing with an extremely competitive phrase. You will in time learn to really love this program.
