Hi, I just joined adsense and added the code to my site but the ads are random and not relevant to the content on my sight.

Any one have any idea? Did I miss a step?

What type of content is on your site. For ads to be relevant, you need to have key word content on your pages so the bot can serve you proper ads. I also get that sometimes. Also what could be the case is that your nitch has few ads available...

When I started, my ads weren't exactly dead-on for what I was expecting. It took a couple of weeks for it to become totally relevant. It may take even longer for individual posts/articles. For example, my Wealth Today Blog is about money, and the various aspects of it. Some of it's about debt reduction, some of it's about investments, some posts discuss insurance. Initially, some of ads on the individual post pages won't be relevant to their topic, but will be related to money in some way. Later on though, the ads will be more relevant to their specific post pages.
