On forums, everyone will have his own opinion.
PR is still having some value left, otherwise Google would have removed it from its Toolbar.
though its not as important as it used to be long time back.

 

PR still has some value. I have no doubts on that.

If you have some Good links from High PR pages, you will see quick change in SERPs, i have noticed this many a times.

 

i dont believe in high Pr links helping with SEO efforts, though people will keep on selling them for good money.

i have seen more green on internal pages and directories of my website which were PR 0 in last update

 

i have never sold any high Pr links but have used them to link to new webites
of mine and they have really gained in terms of SE rankings.

I will suggest you to experiment with a few websites and keywords using high Pr links, you will see good effects of those. People are paying for high Pr links with some cause.

 

i will test it with a small keyword and will get back with results on the same.

but i would like to ask here.

Has anyone seen a drop in PR in this update or this is a Win Win for everyone.

 

All new website pages on www.gdtechindia.com have got a PR 5, they were new and were having a PR 0 but the main page is still have PR 5 which it already had in last update.

Also, a PR upgrade on internal pages of our SEO mission website www.wikiseo.org Many internal pages have a PR 4 or 5 now

 

overall it has been a good update for me.
lets hope the SERPs also change for better.
