i just read that you need to wait 60 days before placing adsense code on your new site? can someone comfirm if this is true? and if you have the time could you look at my site and let me know if anything is wrong ie violation of policy? http://www.thedoctorsforums.com
thanks so much for any guidance.

You don't have to wait 60 days.

And I don't see any TOS violations on the pages I checked.

I haven't heard of that rule. I always put Adsense on any new pages I create straight away, because it's a good way of getting Google to pay you a visit and spider any new pages that you want indexed.

rule does not exist, but I will take at least 60 days before you will see your first check.

Site looks fine - have you tried adding a horizontal add bar just below the menubar? These work best for me

I agree with footballboy. I am sure this has more to do with payment rather than actually placing adsense on a website.

Another possibility is that some publishers are now suggesting that you wait for a period of time before putting adsense on a new site. It is suggested that this might help your site to get listed in Yahoo and MSN. I have not seen any definitive studies that prove this.

that was actually part of the posters argument, he felt it would hurt him getting listed in the 3 SE's. Has anyone else heard this before? Can this be confirmed?
