I agree with you 100%. With that said, this guy Dave sounds kind of legit. Give him the benefit of the doubt.

ps: alfie,I have some more work for you. Check your email this weekend =)

The forum at the old url ran for nearly two years, during which time Adsense ads were running on the site nearly all the time.

I swapped the site url/redirected traffic on 17th March, but forgot I still had the ads on the old site. On 23rd May I was banned. I hadn't put Adsense on the new url at that time, so it wasn't displaying any ads, but I was getting 200+ visitors to the pages on the old site, with 2-3,000 page views per day, all with adsense code.

This seems too big a co-incidence to me and I think that's the reason for the ban. As yet I haven't heard from Google since I emailed them.

Although I said before there was too much to lose to deliberately break TOS, I didn't rely on that money, it's only £60/month at the end of the day, but it's money that was a nice bonus and being saved. I wasn't so much miffed about the money as about the effort i'd put in those 2 years to get to where I was.

I hope it works out for you. I don't know what some forums get out of lambasting every person who suffers the same fate.
It's so easy to get banned its not even funny. I can't see my self ever clicking on my ads accidentally or otherwise but there are so many other things you can infringe upon I would not be surprised if I am banned eventually for some negligible reason or the other.
