wow thats a lot of work to maintain. are you getting links for these blogs or just content, content, content.
Updating 14 blogs a day is a lot of work but for $3k per month it's about worth it considering you are doing about the same amount of work you'd do at a 9 to 5 job. It also depends on the quality of the posts and how much research you put into them. I could never do more than 2 blogs, I have trouble doing 1 that actually is makiing me money... but if you like doing it it's kind of like having your dream job. Work in your underwear doing what you like
I think Burta asked some of the questions we want to know. Do you advertise your blog, or just blog away. Do you host your own blog, or is it a wordpress or blogger account? How do people find you? Burta, If you took a few days to just write so you have a bunch of prewritten information and save as a draft (or set a future date to publish), then save all your blogs as a tabset in firefox it would be pretty quick to publish to 14 a day. But keeping on top of the news for your niche is important too. I only just started blogging. I know there are settings inside wordpress so that you can email to your blog, that might even be better. I'm sure there are a lot of expert bloggers here that know how to automate so its a little easier. Any suggestions?
Thanks to everyone for the congrats! I feel kinda bad for bragging, but hope maybe it will motivate anyone who needs it. I don't have any specific plans, but do want to try to streamline the daily posting process. I do have a text file full of resource links that I use to find post ideas, and this helps speed up the process. I will say that I don't always update every blog every day...sometimes I don't post on the low earning ones. Blogs that are really low earners I just toss to the side. I'd say most of my traffic is from search engines. Use to get a lot from MSN, but now it seems most is from Google. I wonder if MSN penalizes sites that have adsense?
Cool well done on reaching that! Just a quick question - what kind of ads to you use to generate revenue?
I use the 468x60 adsense ads and the big help is using images near the ads. I have a light border around the ads as well, as I think you need that to stay within the tos... anyone else use images?
I'm pretty sure any sort of image that is used to help blend an ad is against the TOS, but I haven't looked into it that much to be honest.
Cool. Too bad i cant use adsense... have you tried any other ads like chitika or do you think they wont earn as much as adsense?
100$ a day will always remain a dream for me because I have earned $50 in 3 months uptill now. Anyway I have 3 blogs but none of them have adsense - I think I should start on them soon.
Images near ads has become a big deal recently with Google really tightening up on it. As soon as your site starts getting a good ctr, Google comes knockin on your door. Or at least that's how it seems from the stories I've heard. Image/adsense blending, along with google link ads near navigation menus are almost everywhere.!!! I smell an opportunity for yahoo or other competitors.
Congratulations. Having 14 blogs took so much time if your working at day and freelancing at home. I hope to be a blogger soon enough because I've heard lot of good stories about blogging. Keep it up!
