Just got into google

    But I'm not showing up in the first 1,000 search results. Is
    that pretty bad or normal since I'm just getting started building
    the site?

    I will take a while after indexing to get any chance of placement. Might want to check the other SE's as they tend to work a bit faster...

    It takes time for google to find your site being important if the niche is a large one or even medium

    If you search this forum you will find new domain names/sites usually do not get into google before four months unless they get some major PR help

    My sites get into Google in a few days.. ranking takes longer. If you have a some PR5+ Bls you should def be above the 1000 mark if our site is well designed for everything but the most competitive terms.
