Just got indexed by google :)

    Wow I just got indexed by google about a week ago, and the amount of my traffic has doubled though I noticed over the last 2 days my traffic has went down by over 100 visitors. Of course, I imagine it's just that less people used queries that pulled my site up in the top 30 results. I have to say that I'm quite happy with the keywords that have landed with site within top 10 and top 30 results. I was very happy to see that my site was listed #6 for the keywords WWE Divas Pictures as these words make up my domain name. I was also quite shocked to see many other queries that landed my site in the top 10 results on Google. My ultimate goal is to make it within the top 10 for the keywords WWE Divas which may never happen, but it's a nice long term goal to have. Right now I'm listed #64 which is on the 7th page of the results. I just feel fortunate that I'm doing so well on google considering I just registered the domain name on July 13th which was only 2 1/2 months ago. However, I think newly listed sites always rank better at first than quickly fall out of the results quickly. So I guess I should enjoy this while it last.

    /// WWE Divas

    This keyword is rather competitive. So it will take a long time to be on the first page in google.

    Most of the new sites will be under sandbox filter.

    Keep on building links to your site and top ten is achievable :)

    Hey guys thanks for the encouragement :) WWE Divas is a competitive word. I will never be number one as the official WWE website will always hold that spot. However, with enough one way back links i believe it's possible to get a top 10 listing

    Don't worry about it being competitive! I entered a hard keyword market and managed to pull in 1st-2nd SERP within 6 months. Just hang in thurr.

    Hey guys about a week ago or so I made it to #4 on google for the term WWE Divas! It's been cached about 3 times after that and the spot still remains. I'm so happy!

    hey guys thanks for warm feedback :) I'm not sure if I have any advice for newbies. About 3 1/2 months back I had my site manually submitted to 1500 directories. I registered for a bunch of wrestling topsites as well as a few celebrity topsites. Most of the topsites had decent PR. I have a myspace dedicated to the website and commented hundreds and hundreds of profiles with an image and text link to my site. I wrote an article about the WWE Divas and had it submitted to 370 article directories. The anchor text WWE Divas links to my site on many sites. If you go to http://www.submitexpress.com/linkpop and type in www.wwedivaspictures.com you will see there's 21k+ links linking back to my site. I think that's one of the main reasons. I'm guessing that manual directory submission to 1000+ directories, and writing articles specific to you're sites them along with linking it to your site and submitting them to a good amount of article directories will help you the most with getting your site ranked higher.

    make a sitemap as soon as possible,
    set google crawl rate in webmasters section to fast so that it crawls your pages faster,
    make sure a few of your important pages always updated regularly,
    try parsing rss feeds for news from some good sites related to wwe.

    Yea i did all that with the exception of parsing rss feeds for wwe related news. I do not know how to do that. However I do have regularly updated wrestling headlines on the site that come from another site that allows you to use their headlines on your site for free. I just entered the javascript code they supplied.

    sorry for forgetting to congratulate you on the indexing, your on your way to more traffic for sure.

    Although i am not completely sure inserting javascript codes do not have the same SE features as parsing rss feeds do maybe because the SE sees javascript as javascript but parsing rss feeds allows you to have pure html as the end result and is thus much better.
    I would suggest you to search google for 'rss2html' script, it is free and very easy for converting rss into html for you to embed within your site. However please note that once your traffic increases using the script will put a heavy load on the server.
