Well, I just logged into Google Adsense today and notice I have about a 65% CTR. It's not exactly that, but it's close to that. I won't give exact figure since Google TOS doesn't allow it. Anyway, I have only made $0.99 from about 200 clicks (again, not exact figure), so I'm guessing I'm not getting money for click fraud (and I'm fine with that). I just want to know, what's the best thing to do to let Google know that I believe I was click bombed. Don't want to get my Adsense account banned.
Okay, sounds good . Oh, and the other fishy thing ... my Google Analytics only shows 119 unique visitors today, yet Adsense says I had about 200 clicks... But yeah, I'll contact them right now.
I think there is nothing to report. They can detect it automatically and filter all those 'bombing' clicks, so don't worry.
Thanks for all your help everyone. I found the page to report strange account activity and sent that in. I hope you're right grg. It'd be a bummer to have my Adsense account banned .
there may not be a nything to report but take the precaution of doing it anyway so google doesnt assume anything, they have a tendency to do that today one of my blogs has 100% ctr and i was scared - then i looked at stats, i had 1 impression and 1 click
Hi, I guess you contacted them on the URL https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?contact=invalid_clicks_contact This is the URL/ form i know for contacting Adsense for invalid click activity. Do let us all know the URL if it is different for what i posted. Regards,
