I just got the "We're excited to let you know that your application has been accepted" email. I am in the UK and signed up for the Beta at the start of the month.

I will prob replace the ads on one of my AdSense sites for a direct comparaison. Any other UK people on Y!PN?

    Nice one!

I've only ever seen a 'sign up' link for US citizens. Where did you sign up?

Same URL that every one else signs up at.

    http://publisher.yahoo.com/

For those of you that got in, what did you enter for '*Monthly pageviews'? And did the URL that you submited have Google ads on them?! :D

    What a mess.

    1) The link in the email did not work for 5 hours, it now works.

    2) The sign-up form you have to give a user name, and all the variations on my name have gone, and they don't let you use numbers, and david-scott is too long, so I had to use some lame abbreviation (why can't they let you use an email?!!!)

    3) The sign up form forces me to select a state (US) there is no "Other" option, so I selected NY, but then my phone number + zip code are incorrect. Managed to press on by using 0000000000 for the phone number and something similar for the zip code

    4) I have sent 3 emails to them. The first saying thanks, the second saying the site is not loading, the third saying there sign up form is useless for non-US residents. I have had auto-replies but no human response.

    5) When I try and log in it says I have to verify my email address, but they never sent me a verification email.

I did say when I signed up a month ago for the BETA that (and I can quote as I made a copy of what I said)

"I am a UK publisher and I know this beta is only open to US publishers but I would like to be informed when you allow registration from non US publishers"

so if they read it they would have seen I was not in the US, makes me think it was automated based on the hits I said I was getting.

    So far, so bad :(

There are non-USA webmasters that are in it right now. One just entered fake info to get in! *Wounders if he'll get his first check, or be the first to complain about geting the invalid clicks E-mail from Yahoo.*

That's where one webmaster entered fake info just to try out the program! Of course E-Mailing them...again would be the safest thing to do!!

If you a tax ID number you do not need to use the SS. Just set up a dummy corp and get a tax ID. It's pretty easy and takes no time at all. Good luck!
