Just got accepted but...

I just accepted to Adsense about 2 hour ago. I put in all the information and got the ad code. I tried pasting it on my blogger blog but it doesn't come up. Do I have to wait a few days before I can use it or am I placing it in the wrong spot?

My site has been crawled and indexed. It was indexed for about a day or two then it disappeared. I'm not sure what happened.

It usually takes a day or two for the ads to appear and then you might have PSAs for a few more days until the content of your site is thoroughly crawled. Nothing to worry about.

Put it on your blog and sit and wait. They don't know where your ads are until you paste them.

Even if your site hasn't been spidered....you should see some ads asking for donations about hurricane katrina....public service announcements

I think ur content in the blog is not relavent i.e more pics. than words or it may be that google don't have relavent ads for ur blog.
You could check this by going to your edit template and then viewing as blogger view. if ads appear in the blogger view then there is a content prob.

Are you using the adsense widget or are you adding the code straight to the html?

I have not been able to add the code to the layout in the new blogger.

I think you either have to use the widget or use a classic layout.

I'm adding the code straight to the html. I don't like using the widget on the new templates because they create a box around your ads. I can paste the ads on my blog but only through the widget on "Page Elements"

Place the code and submit a sitemap. Sitemap is another important "tool" .

I am sure there is a workaround but this is what I was saying. Just use the adsense widget.

Do you see at least PSA ads? If you do, then you just need to wait for the actual ads to appear; If you don't, you've probably done something wrong with the implementation of the code.
