Just got a PR0 today, 6 days after update!

So, with the most recent update I had a PR3 and PR2 for two pages of my site.

I come on it today, and the toolbar is showing me 0 for BOTH PAGES! I used digpagerank.com and some results say 0 others say 2 and 3 depending on what URL i submitted. I am very unhappy about this.

What would cause Google to do this? I have a lot of links in directories, but I had that before I got my PR so why didn't I just stay a PR0 with the update? Why did they change it now?

I don't understand this really. Any advice?

    thx

PR has rolled back on almost every website I have checked including my clients websites. I did however have one of my websites move from 7 to 8 so who knows what is going on. Google has been making MANY changes recently - just have to "roll" with the punches.

But what would the specific reason be?

Why didn't the bot or whatever give me a PR0 3 days ago? What has changes between then and now?

Damn, we don't want another update so soon! Hopefully, its just a glitch since not everyone has had their PR reverted.

I had three new sites that moved to PR3 with the last update and then rolled back today also. My PR4 is still PR4 but the inner pages had moved to three but are back down to 2 and 0 again. I subscribe to Search Engine News so I'll check it out and get back here if they have news.

Google is playing around with the PR thing. Unfortunately back link sales depend on PR.

I just checked a half dozen of my sites and in all cases the PR went back to where it was before the last export.

Yeah, I suspect this is exactly what's happening. Why would they "update" just a few days after their last official 'update'? I think they are fixing and updating their algorithm.

Its strange that some people are seeing the changes while others aren't. Could it be region specific?

I noticed that also, I'm going to check a couple sites on different data centers to see what's going on.

For me 6 DC's are showing the old PR while 24 are showing the new PR. But most importantly, toolbarqueries is still showing the new PR.
