Rules Just got a a wrongful infraction - so who do I contact?

    What everyone seems to be overlooking is this is not "blog commenting". It's posting an article. To consider posting a unique article to a blog, with the blog owners permission as "spam" is laughable... and wrong.

    People who sell blog posts are selling space to and the quality and objectivity usually reflects that. I am not passing judgment whether it is good or bad, just that I personally consider it spam.

    Same way a "news site" just got outed for taking paid posts. It is a question of perspective. I don't put much value in bought and paid articles, posts, comments, news, etc.

    Except that's not the issue here. Personal subjectivity doesn't come into it. The service I offer is legit, it's not blog commenting, it's posting an article to a blog, with the owners permission And the blog owner doesn't get paid for that, I do, for the service I provide. If a mod wrongly thinks that's spam, then they better go through an clean out the hundreds of offers for paid posts. We can't discriminate can we... gahh.. it's near 4am :(

    No, but if you comment on behalf of somebody else then it would be.

    And they're not yours either. But if I do I'll be replying on my own behalf and not somebody elses.

    So Sarah, after I've explained the situation i.e.

    a) it's a private community of blogs,
    b) by joining the community every blog owner, including myself, allows other blog owners to post articles on their blogs. It's the raison d'être for the blog network
    c) These aren't blog comments, but articles with embedded links

    Are you still of the mind that what I offer is "spam", and prevent me offering a service here?
    I would hope you would see reason on this matter, and yes, I did stuff up on the original title, but I'm certainly not offering a spam service (unsolicited bulk messages sent indiscriminately), but a paid post option, as do many other providers on DP.
    I certainly hope you can find in my favour.

    It does seem in line with what many other offer as services here. I was, of course, only speaking of my view of it, not whether it should be allowed. :)

    I disagree with you, that is NOT spam at all. But this doesn't affect me so I don't care how you rule here, there are tons of other places to get people to "spam".

    If this takes much longer there's going to be a joke in there somewhere about "how many mods does it take to change a ........"

    BTW, what's with the time stamps? They seem to out quite a bit i.e. says I last replied "Yesterday 2:31 pm" yet it's more than 36 hours since I've been on. DP time dilatation....forums at the speed of light??
