Rules Just got a a wrongful infraction - so who do I contact?

I had a thread in the Links sales section that got moved to the "Cheap Stuff" thread. Seems the cheap stuff thread is for $5 and less. Now my title says $5 bucks, but that's because I made an error, cleary highlighted in the opening paragraph and should be $10. Unfortunately, it seems you can't change the thread title, so I'm stuck with $5.
Am I next going to recieve an infraction from some other mod who bothers to read the first few lines of the thread, for having a $10 sales thread listed under Cheap stuff?

You title is interpreted as misleading..
It's true that you can not edit the title, but if you needed it changed, you could have asked a moderator (through the use of report button) to change it for you.
I don't see it being wrongful. Saying you made a mistake is not an excuse mate.

Thanks for your reply, and I did think of using the Report Button when I first made the thread, but it seems to me to say in no uncertain terms that it can't be used for anything other than:
It doesn't mention anything about making changes to titles of threads, and the thread was not misplaced at the time, though it is now.

Of course it doesn't, it's not there for this stuff..

But if you honestly made a mistake, you should have used it..
Or PM any of the Mods..

Have PM'ed a mod, will see how it goes, though would have been better if the mod who made change could be identified, so they could follow it up... anyway...on another note, I'm left wondering at how you can "dishonestly make a mistake"... :)

When you make the mistake on purpose, knowingly that you are making a 'mistake'..

In other words - Doing something on purpose in the guise of a mistake. So later you can take cover, claiming it was a mistake.

HA! p.m. the mods okay sure buddy, cause the mods here care about the users and can't stray away from rules or get off their fat ass power stroll to care about user messages they receive.

Looks like I'll have to work my way through the list of mods to find one who will do something. 1st mod I've PM'd over 24hrs ago has ignored it, despite being logged in and active.

They are too cool for private messages, just like too cool for school.

Kudos to Smyrl, who picked this up within 20 minutes of me sending her a PM. She's now passed it to the mod who originally moved the thread.

Smyrl is the WOOman, she replies promptly and is so far the friendliest member of the administration team on DP.

yeah, in all fairness, I don't see a [F] or [M] against a mods name in the profile or "about me".. we live in an androgynous world. I mean "The Webby" could right now be in heels & a cocktail dress for all I know.. and RobJones maybe the bearded lady...who's to know???

    Yeah.. Spamming is my religion..

Certainly, only if I had written Shannon in bold letters under my signature.
Then it would have been pretty obvious, wouldn't it?
