Come and get me G! :p

After all I haven't done anything wrong. If they're doing such a thing, publishers have right to know this. If they're playing with us, should we rather be their toys?

Isn't it against TOS or any Google rules to have more than 1 adsense account?

Up to now if a publisher made a mistake and deleted the line from their script Google would take advantage of it and would never mention it. How could they say it is against their TOS now?

Note: I know, Google is god and can claim anything they want.

No. Publishers are not permitted to maintain multiple AdSense accounts under the same payee name.

I very much doubt that Google would ban someone for this.

For instance, here on DP there is revenue sharing. If someone enters their publisher ID wrongly then Google will still show the ads but would not be able to track who had entered the ID. I don't think they'd punish DP as it's not their fault.

I think this would be very low on Google's priorities, and they won't waste any time on it.

So, another method could be fill deliberately a wrong Affiliate Id (for example without last digit) instead of blank Id.

Wow, some of you seem really desperate for a few dollars. It very clearly states in Google's TOS that you are not allowed to alter the code. That means you cut and paste what they generate, you don't change it.

You obviously didn't read all the posts written. Plus, no one said you had to use it. If you're afraid, don't use it. As simple as this.

Just ask them if you can do this or not. As stated above, the very act of removing your ID is altering the adsense code which is not too smart a thing to do.

I guess it comes down to, Is it worth it??

If you're talking about a site that makes minimal cash and the extra buck or two helps and you don't mind losing it, then OK I guess. But if you have a busy site that's bringing in over $100 bucks a day let's say, is it worth it to mess with Google??

The way I look at these things is, can it even "seem" to be misleading Google even if it's not mentioned in the terns and conditions, then don't F*** with it because whatever you've built up can be gone tomorrow!!

Like I said, is it worth it? Everyone makes their own call on this one!!
