    It should show the ads just fine. Can you PM me your website URL please so I can take a look at it myself?

    Say the following is your AdSense code;

    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-8325787796426389";
    google_ad_width = 336;
    google_ad_height = 280;
    google_ad_format = "336x280_as";
    google_ad_type = "text";
    google_ad_channel = "";
    google_color_border = "FF6FCF";
    google_color_bg = "FFBBE8";
    google_color_link = "FF6FCF";
    google_color_text = "FF6FCF";
    google_color_url = "C94093";
    //-->
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

    The line marked as bold is the line which defines your AdSense publisher ID. Simply edit the line as below;

    google_ad_client = "";

    That's it.

    Wow, I read the first 4 pages and last 2, enough :) Very interesting tho, might give it a try, since I have this issue

    First day ever I added adsense I made:

    The highest was 11,360 Impressions 79 clicks making $9.85
    The lowest was 16,683 impressions 52 clicks making $1.99

    The Average I make is $3.96 / day! not that much would have loved to stay with almost 10.

    Website is www.alizee-forum.com ! As a logged in user you only see one google ad after the first post.

    No, and the thing is this thread is open for more than 3 months and no one reported they got banned because of this trick. So I think you guys should stop moaning `you will get banned` when you got no proof at all.

    Very nice thread! Thanks Leet for starting this thread... I am going to try it out on one of my site, or do I have to do it on all my sites to make it work?

    I don't know. The numbers seem a bit off. How many are actually trying this compared to the thousands not trying it? How many have tried it more then a day or three? Maybe it can have adverse effects in the long run. Maybe google thinks the few people that have tried it are just having a bad day implementing their web pages. Maybe no one has gotten paid at the end of the month either... that's a lot of maybes and there are likely more.

    By the book, it does seem that it's against the guidelines. Removing a part of the code is altering it, and altering it IS against the guidelines.

    Maybe you could write Google about this trick and then copy/paste the reply here?

    If you write to Google about it, all you gonna get is a political answer. Again I am telling, if you don't have guts to do it, this trick is not for you. I am still behind my statement though, no one can ever get banned because of leaving the pub id blank, no way..

    This seems fantastic and as no-one has been banned by google, it seems just too good to be true - you think google will catch on to this?

    Nice trick, though I didn't read whole thread, I like it... interesting thing happend to me today, I was trying Bidvertiser instead of AdSense with my main ad unit... I tested it about 10 minutes, then I switched it back to AdSense and voila - new and never-seen-before ads appeared! Dunno if they are higher paying than the last ones but they appear more related to the content of the site. I am going to test it out with other ad unit... I will have to wait to figure out if they are higher paying thought... I will report here later.

    Also I would like to say something about leaving pub id blank = they shouldn't ban you - otherwise they would ban all "Adsense ready WordPress theme" users and there are several themes with premade adsense unit with blank pub ids...

    not logical.

    the intent of this thread is to falsely inflate your adsense epc, on a repeat basis, by deliberately violating the adsense tos.

    wordpress theme users are not trying to rip off google and its advertisers.
