    Oh, I see :p
I'm curious why you are not using the 336x280 ad since it's really an attention grabber and often has the highest CTR (atleast for me).
I am using it with great success. It's currently generating about 70% of my adsense income. However I can
understand that all ads do not work the same with every site. =)

When you say that more advertisers are targeting the 300x250 ad, then you are referring to image ads, right?
Because text ads should not make any difference. (correct me if I'm wrong).

I might try the 300x250 ad later on to measure the difference. Might even write an article about it. :p

Maybe you should do some digging and maybe you'll find out that you are completely wrong.

    Oh, like this guy!

Just post on this thread so I can answer your questions here for all to see.

Yes, there are a lot more banners targeting the 300x250 box than the 250x250 box, or even the 336x280 box, so there is a bit more competition for the image ads. I ALWAYS do image/text ads since I feel like it give the pages more variety in their ads and gives you a bit more competition.

It is true. My findings below are just approximates, but Tom is doing an excellent job.

It's good to see people making money with their computer, skills, persistence, and patience. You can learn a thing or two from him. You can learn a lot about his journey from spending a few minutes and reading through his website: tomsadventure.com

Congratulations Tom! Let the haters hate, they're still fumbling around DP forums wasting time and trying to find the answer when it's right in front of them.

I have to proud of myself. I was guessing that he is selling his sites and I have just noticed that I was 100% correct. Please find my previous posts on this thread.

He is trying to sell his sites. He has a post on his blog which is given on his first post. That blog has a post on the homepage which contains links to his flippa ads:

    http://www.tomsadventure.com/selling-websites-so-i-can-focus-on-what-works/

Here what he is tying to sell us:

    NICE TRY!
Unfortunately you should find another webmaster forum to tell "Hey Look! I am making $10k"

I found stories like this inspiring when I first started with programs like adsense.
I think if people share their success it encourages us to think we can also achieve these numbers.
These forums are designed exactly for the purpose of sharing and discussing these things.
I look forward to a wild ride on my new career path as a webmaster, I'm building my second blog now and am looking forward to the future.. to everyones success-webkenny

He is just promoting his sales at flippa. He is not sharing any useful info about how he is making $10k.

Don't you read the name of this thread?
"Just did my first $10,000 month on Adsense! Took me nearly 5 years! Ask me anything"

Some people asked him some question and got nothing.

How can I have serious issues?

Wow. Are you serious? Surely if I wanted to get more bidders on my sites, there would be a better way than linking to my blog that mentions I'm selling some sites on the 3rd post down.

Its this sort of attitude that will get you nowhere. Wasting your time trying to disprove (and failing) that this sort of success is possible.

Please do not post in this thread anymore. You obviously haven't seen me answer every single good question posted in this thread.

If you are trying to oust me for selling a product, or lying about my income, you have failed, so stop posting in this thread.

Please only post in this thread if you have questions about tactics I have used to become successful.

Which tactics are you talking about? I have just completed reading the whole thread again. All your previous answers can be found everywhere on the internet. That's why I and some old DP members here told that there is nothing special here.
Also I don't think that you can tell someone "don't post here" or "post but don't talk about this." This is a public forum not your own blog and everyone can comment about what's going on. Yes you are right. I have no time for these. I stopped here.
