Just Designed a Logo !

I have just designed a logo for my new project (Grand Theft Auto IV Forum)

What do you think about it please ?

its more of a banner but still very good maybe put in a picture/screen shot from gta but good work!

 

The outerglow effect on the white font is a bit harsh (makes the font type a bit blurry.. therefore hard to read). Try making the opacity of the outerglow a bit lighter..

There are also alignment issues: Make the slogan smaller or the main logo font larger so the edges of both lines line up together.

 

I agree with 8everything, in that the glow is a little too bright. I like the font used for the title, but not sure that the font used for "The Story Continues" is quite right... seems more suited for a fantasy/RPG type thing.

 

You may want to tone down on the glow some.

 

well, you just used text, maybe you should remove the glow, or make it lower .

Logo : A logo is a drawing that represents to a business or what ever it is, maybe the idea of a logo it's not to use only text, if not, use a "shape" that represents the business .

 

Yeah i realized its like a small banner rather than a logo !

it's horrible, i don't mean to sound like an asshole or anything but you can't read the text on it. i see T (something something) GTA IV

 

My first concern is that you can't read the text. My second concern is that there is nothing which really sets it apart from other logos. I think that you should add a little graphic, perhaps a gun from GTA, to spice things up a little.

Anyway, good luck. Show us any improvements.

 

Yeah it is well designed but hard to see

 

hmmm you really have to change glow on it.. minimal glow is fine... its not bad but not great.. hard to read..

 

the main text is kinda confusing. its like a captha when submitting to directories.
just make it clearer, readable. nice logo..

 

I think it is a bit hard to ready with glow effect and maybe the gradient on "The Story Continues" is a bit too dark for that size

 

Yeah, it is blurry beyond recognition. Make it more subtle looking and easy to read, bro.

 

Grunge, halo and outer glow.....keep practicing.

i don't like that logo.My suggestion is make it more graffiti looks.Because the name of that logo is about gaming right?Color it more nicely and change the font..

is it ok?choose the right color is the most important thing.Put stroke (maybe black stroke)

 

Real hard to read what the (top) text says, its to bright

 

Not very readable. Grunge + Outer glow doesn't work.

Just to be a lil' constructive as well, the fonts aren't matching that well imo.
