Just customized a theme for my site, can you look and review?

I feel bored using pre-designed template. So, I took wordpress default theme and try to practice integrating it with my site. Why practise? I am no coder, I know little about it so this is a trial and error.
So then I successfully customize default theme to my site but it lacks style.

So, I went searching for minimal and good looking theme and found one called "Clean Home". I took it, repeat the same procees I did with default theme earlier and now it works!

Please take some time to review the site and hopefully I can get some feedback of whether or not it suit my site. I am open to any critic good or harsh.

Hello, your website looks good, but on the "share to many" banner you should lower the opacity a bit on the
whit glare..It makes the text a bit hard to read. Other than that, good job.
