Just checking in for the first time with a proper HELLO

Hi Everyone: My name is Dixie, and this is my first post. I was told that this was a great forum for internet marketers, and I knew I couldn't allow myself to be left out.

I live in Tennessee during the summer, and Hawaii during the winter. It is almost time for me to make my way to a warmer climate for a few months.

That's the good thing about internet marketing. You can work from anywhere. I like to be in Hawaii for Christmas every year because that is where my daughter lives.

I am a freelance writer, and handle a lot of specialty articles for my local newspaper and a couple of magazines. I also spent 25 years in sales and marketing. A couple of years ago, I decided to start working for myself instead of someone else, and at the same time, discovered affiliate marketing.

For the past 2 years, I have been selling on the internet - first on ebay, which wasn't as lucrative as I had originally hoped, but it was enough to get me started and keep me busy until I learned enough to move to the next level.

Today, I manage 5 blogs, and 40 mini-sites of my own, all in separate niches but comparable to each other. It took almost 2 years of sometimes, 8-10 hours a day, to get it all setup because I was learning at the same time. I also build and maintain websites for companies in my local area. Yes, I stay pretty busy, but I like it that way.

I still don't know it all, as I'm sure none of us ever will. That is my reason for joining this forum - to continue learning, and perhaps at the same time, being able to share a few things that I have learned along the way.

Its just few minutes before that i joined this community,i found your thread to be the most interesting one to start with !

This is hanika basically i am an Indian but now after marriage i reside in france with my hubby who is scientist here...before marriage i use to be Economics lecturer in a Degree college ,but now since its hard to sit ideal at home ,so continuously for hours i keep searching on net for some really knowledgeable sharing and ofcource earning sites...i found this one to be suitable and so starting with it,

you seems to be very senior and truely experiened person yet very simple by words,i sincerly admire person like you ..so with a great start of my first post ,i wish i could connect to more people like you and get to learn ,share and explore...

need to know much about how things work on this site.....ending it with heartiest wishes for you for everything you do ..
