There are a few keywords that I can crack the first page with but there are other keywords I cant crack the top 10 for.

Can you guys think of anything I can do to start increasing my ranking?

    site is http://www.silvertails.net

I want to crack the first page for "Manly Sea Eagles" and similar keywords

    Cheers
    Dan

First of all remove the redirect that takes you away from the first page. Then stop using underscores in the urls. Also remove the external links from the footer.

Have your keyphrase appearing more than once in your content would be a good idea. Get more links to that page with your keyphrase in the anchor text, too.

    google longroad.

as for the others the redirect is there because it is dynamic, it points to index.php but the front page is a different page. not sure how I can change or set this.

the front page is also dynamic with news about the club and game so it is difficult to get permenant keyphrase placement in there

Just want to add to this. If you want a seperator for your URLs use dash ( - )
because search engine reads them as a seperate words also if you use dash. Dont use underscores.
