You can offer either an incentive to other members or do a 1:1 post exchange to some forum owners.

Browse thru the bottom of this thread.

If you're not aware, there is a 'forum management' section here. :)

pay 0.20 per each member with 2 post.
Do that useful? i try some before, all just get the money and wont loyal to it.

or i pay some forum poster, post useful content, attract more members?
    or launch any referral program?

    any suggestion please

I'm about to start a new forum too. How long does it take for you to start seeing traffic? Did you start all the chats in your forum by actively participating in it or just drive traffic to your site.

Do you allow them to post easily without needing to sign up?

Forums are tough business and you need to spend a lot to get results.

First, you need to hire some paid posters who will fill up your forum with real post.

Second, you need to advertise all over. Buy links on sites with related niche and add to any place that potential members hang out.

Third, take advantage of any free advertising such as forum signatures in related forums or free blog posts.

You may have too many categories to start a forum. Pick one niche and focus on that. If it is gaming, than focus on that and have one category for general chat that covers the six categories you now have on the main forum. You can always add later but a person just visiting might not know what the main focus of the forum is.

It takes a long time to build a forum and many fail before they get off the ground. You need to spend a lot of time working at it and posting as much as possible and search every opportunity to advertise your forum and in time you may succeed.

    1) 50 USD = Hire 5 Forum poster ( each 100 post)

    2) 50 USD = Paid 250 Member Sign in, Each 2 post

    3) 50 USD = Advertise on banner , get decent member

I would go for option one since you will have some new content that will also bring organic traffic from SE's and so on...

its look is great, but now its time to build community around it.
ask your friends to get involved and after go to facebook, myspace, orkut, bebo and others and build community around your forum. it does not happen in one day, takes time to build community, but i think its worth.

For one, don't hire a poster, do your own posting and be creative! Hell I ran my own forum for 3 years and people joined like as if I was giving money away. It's all in how you present your forum.

    * Looks of your forum (VERY important)
    * Forums you have where they can post (Need to be friendly and match the type of forum you have)
    * Advertise contests, giveaways such as free advertisement for a full month.

Just don't hire anymore posters, you're waisting valuable time and money when you could be creative and do it yourself...

Send me a PM if you need any help, I don't charge or want anything back in return.

it's not too bad, just when you scroll the alternating colors hurt the eyes. moreover it was 4 am when i posted that, and my eyes were tired :p

anyways try making the darker blues less prominent
