    Almost...
I randomly got the idea to look it up and noticed it wasn't registered. I was like holy shit that looks like a good domain name and started getting ideas but I was on my iTouch and decided that I would do it when I got home. When I got home I forgot about it and then today I remembered and went to buy it only to find out that yesterday night someone bought it... =(

    I am so disappointed.

Moral of the story. When you find a good domain name buy it instantly!

Did you check the domain for availability at any registrar? Just curious if it was an inside job...

the Whois says that it is someone from Germany registered at Register.com and I looked it up first on godaddy so I don't think that it was them. It really sucks because today before I got home from school I planned out what I would do with it and started setting aside funds for getting it up and running. I had a whole plan laid out when I found out it was taken =)

At least you were fairly beaten to the domain. I've had some get snatched up at Network Solutions over the years, and it is not a good feeling.

If you have a good plan, maybe get a variable to that domain.

    Good luck! :)

This happens a lot of times. Before you search, make up your mind to register if something is available.

Nah I liked that domain name because it was so simple. I won't spend time unless I have a good domain name on what I was planning. Too much traffic would be wasted going to other sites.

That's one thing i learned the hard way. Register the domain as soon as you think it up!

Dude, that really sucks. On the upside, hopefully you've learned from this experience. Purchase the domain immediately when you find a good one. For under $10 you can buy it and decide what to do with it later.
