Just bought a domain that ranks highly for keyword.

    I recently bought
    www.domain-speculation.co.uk

I posted this in the appraisal but it didn't get much value. Have now realised its a pr4 and ranks 13 for the keyword "domain speculation" (bet that increase the value! heh heh)

Any way I don't want to lose this ranking. What can I do to keep it there until i develop something good to put there?

Will I lose ranking because the registration details have changed etc?

    Thanks
    Jamie

You'll need some content and links - the sooner the better.

Changing registration/whois information will have no affect.

I wouldn't think you would have too many problems holding that ranking, it shouldn't be too competitive of a term.

The real question is, is it generating any traffic for ya? :)

You want to know why the domain is a PR5.
If the sites supporting this domain pull out you lose your ranking.

Well using the digital point kwd suggestions tool the term gets a few searches. May be worth it, we'll see.

Just add some more content related to current content and you should not have any problem keeping current PR but I'm not sure what would be the effect on the PR if you move to entirely differnt content.
