Just bought a ccTLD... what to do with the dot com?

    Just bought a ccTLD and couldn't resist getting the dot com with it. Whats the best practice in these scenarios? redirect the dot com to the ccTLD? Or upload the same content and target another country?

    if u targeting the counntry users more use cctld as main site.

    .com u can use as redirection or as a landing page

    that was my main aim to target UK, but now I'm thinking why not make the same content available to US..

    If your content is about the UK (eg real estate listings), I'd say use the ccTLD and redirect the .com there. But if the content is not geared specifically towards the UK (eg real estate tips) then use the .com and redirect the ccTLD there.

    I'd just redirect it, you wont lose traffic to your site that way :)
