Just bought a bold listing on Proxy.org

There seems to be alot of people asking about whether a bold listing on Proxy.org is worth it. I had some spare change in my PayPal account so I thought I may aswell give it a go.

Opinions vary greatly on whether it's a good idea or not.

I'll post stats on how traffic much traffic http://www.promptproxy.com/ (the site I listed) is getting every 24 hours or so and so we can finally see whether it is or isnt worth it.

Hmm.. Intressted to see how much traffic you will get.

Proxy.org say on average 60 hits to each bold listing. But is that right?

And google may ban an adsense account because apparently traffic from proxy.org is made up of lots of bots that are being blamed for fraud clicking adverts....

22 hours later and I've only received 2 visitors from Proxy.org. A bold listing is absolute crap lol.

Is there a serious risk of being banned? I'm not getting any traffic (lol) so I figure it doesn't matter but maybe I should have link removed?

dont remove the link yet. it could possibly take a couple days to get your listing noticed. but look on the proxy.org forums there are tons of people getting their adsense accounts banned from fakes click throughs. so just watch out if u doo start getting a lot of click throughs from proxy.org. if you start seeing an average of 60 a day just change to adbrite instead of adsense.

i just found this via the "baron" on proxy.org

"While Proxy.org does not warrant the level of traffic that any listing will receive, measured from April 11, 2007 to April 17, 2007, Proxy.org sent an average of:

7 hits per day to each of 6,136 Regular Listings.
60 hits per day to each of the 692 Bold Listings.
460 hits per day to each of the 29 Tier Two Listings.
1,350 hits per day to each of the 10 Top Ten Listings."

    10 a day isn't too bad I guess. That's about $0.065 CPC.
It should probably be around half that to be worth it.

I wish I had more link space on BPS. I know it's a good value.
