Hi guyz, Today I had just been to the electronic shop to buy myself a pendrive. I was looking at Kingston or Transcend 8 GB but in another shop, this Adata FP2 1GB just caught my attention! Bought it and using it! Just thought of starting this thread out of excitement! Here, In Mumbai, hardly any of my 'techie' friends were aware that such thing exists in pendrives too! I don't whats the situation at your place! For the curious ones, I have uploaded the PDf user manual. You can download it: http://personal.w3hobbyist.com/Fingerprint user manual V1.1.pdf [It may ask you to install a Chinese font, but it not needed. Just 'cancel' if its asks, because the English version is just few pages ahead] Few of its features(cnp from the manual) Lifetime waranty No driver for Fingerprint sensor for most Windows OS. Speed is more than 11 MB/s in read and 10MB/s in write Embedded Software for favorite website, web login management, personal flash mail, file management and fingerprint tools Finger authentication process<3 sec Sweep-type capacitive fingerprint sensor Purchased 1 GB for Rs. 650(around 15 USD) in Thane,Mumbai @ Mango! I am still excited about it! Now I don't have to check every 5 mins if my pendrive is there or not in my pocket while in travel and crowds Earlier it was a headache as I also had to carry a datacable Now I can relax a bit!
Although the design is not so attractive, but the functionality is much better than the well known brand.
^ Infact I saw the Adata brand for the first time. I never had heard about it on any website or from my friend. iw as just checking the displayed items and fell for this one! Its great!
Remember about hardening: cut off your finger, and enemy would suffer hopelessly trying to get your data. It's interesting to see it's real performance, can you measure it?
