Just Blocked 10cents Paying Frequent Keyword Site

from appearing on one of my sites. It was appearing on front page very often as the WHOLE leaderboard. Was the block a good idea?

I checked on the view bids site and as I suspected that site was paying only 10 cents!

Also why did YPN let a 10 cents ad appear as a whole leaderboard? I thought they showed the highest paying ads over lower ones???

The leaderboard would rotate other ads but that 10c was showing most of the time.

Thanks I didn't even think to block that! I've had a free fonts download 10 center doing the exact same thing, blocked as now! :)
I suspect there's an if else involved where if there's a very relevant ad it places (either one two or three) and then else place ad category/subcategory ads.

Yes the 10 cent ad was very relevant but I had to block it since it was dragging down my money.

YPN says it could take 2 business days to block it. I will post if this leaderboard makes more money with that ad blocked as soon as stats show up.

of course block the lower paying ads... :) the reason it is probably showing is the have low pay but the probably have high budget.. so Y is trying to spend there budget by giving large rotation.. just a thought.... but of course block it as long as higher paying more relevant ads show! :)

i don't get it ... did you guess the keywords he was using to find his ad and then determine what he was bidding? there is no direct way i take it?

I've tried to block a number of ads, but they are never blocked (still showing up weeks after I "blocked" them). Good luck with it. Let us know if they are ever really blocked.
