Just Baught new domain name want comments

Hey i've just purchased Psdoug.com its for a webdevelopment website
just want people to comment on if they name sounds stupid or orite and if it would be easy to remember or not.

I thought Doug was the name of some guy. Doug standing for design of unique graphics, doesn't make sense.

that was my first thought...figured it was something like a blog site or something until I saw photoshop design of unique graphics.

It sounds like a persons name. But I guess you can use it.

 

I wouldn't use it. I read it as PS Doug. I think you can find a better name out there.

The domain works it’s easy to recall how ever the domain alone is worthless how ever if you develop the site then things change

I thought Doug was a guy's name as well.

However it is relatively easy to remember- PS Doug...so if you put in enough effort, you could create a brand.

If your name is Doug, even more better

 

I thought it meant PlayStation Doug (the name)...

 

If you are planning on developing it I'd say go with PhotoShop Doug, and call yourself Doug on it.

 

The name looks stupid to me.

 

I have two things to say to you :
1. The name is not good enough, but it is easy to remember. You need a hard work to make a great content so people will visit it without even think about the domain name.
2. I don't think it's a good idea to ask what people think about your domain name after you have purchased it. So if someone says that the name sounds stupid, then you have nothing to do about it. Next time, if you need our comments, please make sure that you don't buy it already so our comments will help you to consider.

I also thought "doug" was a person's name. But yeah, everything with "PS" these days are related to Photoshop. I agree with wierdo, you should just move forward (as oppose to using another domain name) and go with a fictional website character named "Doug" or "PS Doug". It becomes sort of catchy that way.

 

Im sure everyone will think its a personal website/blog like PEE SS Doug.

Also why would you want Photoshop design of unique graphics for a web development website?

If you do both(graphic design / web development) you shouldn't have the branding so one sided on a single computer program.

 

p.s. Doug, I love you... That's what popped into my head when I saw it anyway.
