I am the original owner of lmmfao.com
I actually sold the website about 6 months ago more than likely to the same guy that scammed you.
Unfortunately, you're lucky because he chargedback 6k through Paypal for my website.
I've went the same route as you with Paypal, GoDaddy, etc and got the same results which is nothing.
It sucks that this asswipe is even able to do this without Paypal even lifting a finger to help.
I have found a way to pursue him through the legal system so if that's something you're interested in doing, you can reach me on AIM and i'll give you the details.

Damn, he used a different paypal account to get the site off me, must be stealing them somewhere.

I'll get all the evidence together, and contact lunarpages. Maybe they can help identify him.

In this case, you in the lost side. That`s why I`m not using Paypal. Better Use Escrow, more safe for trading domains.

I wonder why they do this , so much is made for the paypal side when there is a paypal dispute.

I think that seeing as this guy has stolen nearly $10,000 from both of you, you should contact the police, I got scammed $15 and I'm REALLY annoyed. You got scammed nearly $10,000, this guy should be locked up.

Your time would be better spent making sure something like this does not occur again. Paypal is an insecure payment processor with ludicrous disclaimers. They make so much from naive merchants, why would they want to revise their business model to satisfy a few little guys.

The have market dominance and 10,000 bucks will not change them. That's the way it is. Just move on.

I 100% Disagree! People ignoring these things is exactly why they get away with it, and exactly why people don't bother doing it. It's all very well when it's someone elses money that has been taken, but when it's yours, you wont give up so easily.

Well since you disagree Hecky fine, it's your right to. To the OP, go through all the legalities people have mentioned and see where it gets you.

I am willing to bet 2,000 dollars you will not retrieve a dime. By the time anything looks it's getting anywhere, many months have already passed.

Why not threaten PayPal for failure to cooperate? Maybe that will move them into doing something.

Also, what happened from the stage where Paypal was agreeing with you and saying it will be OK to it changing to being closed and saying wrong delivery adress?

    Yeah, This is pretty unfair.

I think you're not having the best of days.... I can't believe paypal would allow you to get conned like this.

Dont worry though,What goes around comes around.

Make a website, tell your story, get it out there.

    Paypal will give.
