Just Acheived Highest One Day Earnings on Adbrite!

I'm about a month into Adbrite and I just don't get it. I have a nice queue of CPM and Interstitials at $15 - $500 but my daily earnings are in the pennies. Granted, these aren't massively trafficked sites, but they are not ghost towns either.

Any hope to generate earnings from AdBrite or should I just walk away now? Suggested alternatives appreciated.

 

If you are hoping to earn money of the network ads, i would say walk away... that being said, if you can get advertisers to purchase the space, it can work.

I average about 6.5/8 spots sold and am generating almost 1000 / month...

I have a similar[ish] problem

I run a fairly decent site with a good level of traffic.
However as most the users are members I get a high hit count but low unique visitors.

This demographic tends to perform poorly with CPC advertising but have yet to find a decent CPM or other replacement ads.

Can anyone advise further?

I get about 3-7 cents a day for CPM and I have a very, very low click rate. How will I know if someone wants to buy an ad space on my website(see sig) maybe my price is too high? Adbright says they automatically set the price. To the guy making almost $1k a month, my god how????????

 

With a tailwind, I'm going to gross $1.00 from Adbrite in February. I gave it one more try and readjusted all my pricing, offering "new advertiser specials" on one week links that should be pretty compelling. Not even a nibble.

One small hint is that if you bold the first two lines of your site (adzone?) description, the bold will show up in the directory listings and make your ad stand out. Did nothing for me, though my listings are the only bolded ones on page.

Bottom line: I think Adbrite is just worthless.

Just for balance, I will say that I do make money with adbrite. And mainly just with network ads. Oddly enough, I often make more with network ads, then when someone buys the space. Adbrite usually makes me ~10 per day, but I do have a lot of traffic. I have been using adbrite for nearly 2 years.

 

I wouldn't waste my time on these sites. I could make more just by posting on forums making a difference.

adbrite sucks. I made approximately 1.06 over 2 months with it from network ads. Even though at one point my price per week of a link was .37 cents I still didn't get a nibble.

I think adbrite has way to many publishers and not enough advertisers.
