Just Accepted by ValueClick Media (Fast Click) / Have Some Questions

Hi Friendz ,

After Rejecting many times , at last i accepted by valueclick media for one of my sites.

I have a question , can i setup ads 728/468 on footer .

Do u have any tips for a beginner

Nope I'm pretty sure all banners/leaderboards have to be within the top 500px of the page (i.e. at the header).

Erm.. Can't think of any tips right now except for make sure you setup default ads, top tier networks tend to have a lower fill rate so make sure you have a default to link to another ad network so that you don't waste your inventory

 

Yea , it says you must keep all 468 / 728, 160/120 x 600 ads above the fold or first 500 pixels

 

Above the fold and withing the 1st 500px. As someone said before, set up defaults but ValueClick doesn't default much for me (Maybe a niche thing).

 

Yep, a tip would be to read the TOS, lol. Na, I do see some sites having them in the footers, which means they are breaking the TOS of the network. All ads should be above 500 px's

 

There are some code banners for footers which are allowed to be placed below the 500px mark, but they usually have horrible fill rates and don't pay much, because not very many people want to advertise in that spot.
