So, today was the first time I ever visited this section of the forum. I am a very opinionated man, so I thought it would be best I stay clear. This forum is full threads that could really offend people eh? Which lead me to thinking... you could honestly consider all the religious prophets... Jeasus, Mozes, Allah and so on, as dictators! It is a fact that has been talked about since the begining of time, but the world WOULD really be better with no religions, no? Jeasus is telling everyone to join Christianty and issolating thoes people from opening thier minds. EXACT same with the others. Personaly, I am not religous so my opinion is not bias. I do think I am here for a reason and I do have faith... But really, joining a religion is kind of like living in North Korea... If you put your mind to it, it makes sense, no? Really sorry if I ofended anyone, you know... Just my two cents eh?
I would not consider neither Jesus or Moses dictators, they spread good news, and Moses was doing the work of God. BTW, Jesus never told anyone to join Christianity, as Christianity did not exist until AFTER Jesus had been crucified. Here is my two cents, please learn to spell or get a new translator...thanks.
Sorry, it was actually the first time I have ever used Moses in a sentence. Ok, very true. Although, religions are still asking people to join and they get that message across to everyone. I don't know, again... I am not very religious and I usually do not participate in this forum. I do find religion fasinating though, how they want everyone to lvie in peace, yet we can not produce it!?
you are right in saying allah is A god, the moon god to be exact. Although, I don't believe in this moon god as even being real just like the thousands of gods there are said to be. mahammad, on the other hand is a false prophet, that is the only kind of prophet he was.
Who would win in a hand to hand combat fight between the Son of God, and Moses? What if moses had Noah on his team, and Jesus had the Pope? Find out, this Sunday, at the WWRFF live on GodPerView!
Allah is THE God. Even Jesus took His name as Allah. But the translators changed it over time. Here is the unrefutable proof: And Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was definitely the last and final prophet. I have proved it beyond doubt here. As for the topic, if every man on earth starts to find out the truth himself and not from propaganda sites, he will find it out himself. And there would be eternal peace. But unfrotunately, that won't happen. People are too busy ignoring the truth.
Quoting from religious scriptures to prove thier authenticity isn't proof of anything at all, not even in the slightest sense, it is a waste of words and that's it.
Just for clarification purposes, God of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are generally considered the same God by all three religions. The difference is the beliefs of all three religions and who they believe to the be the true prophets of God. If you follow a true religion, it is nothing like a dictatorship, you still have free will to do as you please. If you do not like a certain religion, chose one you like or take parts of several of them. Everyone needs something to give them hope or faith. Even atheist believe in something even if they claim not to. Faith is a personal thing and if you feel bound by something or feel like you are in a prison, then it is your choice to leave that belief system and move on. And not trying rag on you, but you really do need a good spell check, you spelled ten words wrong just in the part I quoted.
Don't try to tar everyone with the same brush, humans do not need something to believe in at all, I have always dismissed stories of god as quickly as stories of ghosts, just because you cannot imagine to live without some faith in your life doesnt mean it's the norm, because it certainly is not. @Ahmad, yes it is, a total waste, because none of the words you using to reason mean anything to someone who does not believe those words in the first place.
But being an athiest, do you believe that all the prophecies just happen to point in one direction? Including the ones with names? If you do, I won't continue arguing with you. Fair enough, eh?
I am not taring you with anything. It is the norm and is backed up with years of research. Nor did I state that you need to believe in a god or anything else in particular. If you are an atheist, guess what? You have a belief system! And I did not state anything about my faith at all, I was stating proven historical facts about humans in general. I believe that all people should believe what makes them feel good and no other person should tell them it is right or wrong. If you could find me one human anywhere that can prove the existence or nonexistence of God without a shadow of doubt, I would happily follow that person's leadership. Until that, faith including atheism is purely a personal belief that others may or may not share with you.
I'm not an athiest, I'm afraid you cannot put my in one of societies containers. I will not accept anything that requires any belief of any sort, because if it requires belief then it cannot be the truth as truth does not require faith, it is fact. As all prophets have come to preach about thier faith and the faith they wish you to have, they are meaningless to me, insignificant bits of history - if they happened at all, logics leads me to conclude that everyone who thought they were related to god, or a prophet of the same was probably just mentally ill and went undiagnosed.
Definitions of atheist: "One who has formed an active belief that there are no gods. This term differs from agnosticism which asserts no knowledge of gods and therefore concludes there are no reasons to believe in them or not to believe in them. Atheism is just as active a religious system as is Islam, Christianity or Hinduism. The difference is that the atheist belief system falls on the opposite pole of the spectrum from those religions in that it is a negative rather than a positive belief." A person for whom the idea of god is senseless. Not to be confused with a person who hates (and neccessarily believes in the existence of) god." A good link to look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atheist Not trying to argue with you, but this really sounds like you Joe.
Have some balls, if you werent tryin to argue then you wouldn't keep posting, you are tryin to argue..... Listen carefully, dismiss what you know about yourself, I do not, and cannot have beliefs, in that I have never actually introduced "believing" into my psyche, and nor has anyone else, I never had Santa to believe in, nor tooth fairies, nor any other childhood fantasties, least of all any gods. Anything I have in my mind is fact, logic, my mindset will not accept information unless you can show me, scientifically or mathematically or programmatically that it is fact, I'll just dismiss it as nonsense, or occasionally store it as an anecdote. Religion makes no logical sense, and so I dismiss it, but you cannot call this a belief as I do not and cannot believe, I actually know for a fact, gods do not exist. So you must see now, even if you cannot comprehend how a mindset like that might operate they do actually exist, and so belief is not something humans need.
It's really a lot more than that, isn't it? No "prophet" of the bible married and raped a 9 year old child. And demanded his followers kill all the non-believers, right? Also, Islam believes all of their prophets are flawless and without sin. This ignores the fact that Moses killed someone, was a sinner in God's eyes and God wanted to kill him at one point. Christianity has changed into, at least, a pallatable 21st century religion - where they don't kill people who don't believe in their God and are pretty tolerant of other beliefs. Islam, on the other hand still believes in slaughtering people, the convert or die belief, oppression, etc. I don't think you can whitewash the differences as purely about prophets.
