maybe they do do this. but i dont think so. why doesnt google just allow you to use adsense earning to pay for adwords campaigns. wouldnt that be alot easier. i havent done any adwords campaigns or anything. christmas season so money is tight. but wouldnt it save alot of people some time just to use their adsense earning since most of you guys use the earning to go back into the site to develop it more and get more traffic. so wouldnt it just make sense for google to do this?

It wouldn't make good money sense for Google. Google is making a ton of money off of interest by holding the money for x amount of days before it actually pays it to the publisher. Imagine how much money they would lose if they weren't able to hold those dollars of every publisher? If you think of the amount of Adsense money that is collectively accumulated each month by all publishers as a whole, then consider that Google gets to hold onto that money and collect interest, then you can imagine the amount of money that they make off of interest by keeping that money in the bank.

I have a friend that works for Dell and he thoroughly explained the concept to me. Many other large companies use the same concept. Dell buys parts from manufacturers with the promise to pay them within 90 days. Dell receives the parts, assembles them and sells them to the consumer, collecting the payment even before the product is delivered. Dell gets to collect that money and bank it for nearly 90 days before they have to actually pay back to the original parts vendors. They are collecting interesting for that entire time. The amount of interest that is made during that holding period is phenomenal. According to my friend Dell is no longer in the PC selling business (despite that being what they do!), they are in the money holding business.

I am sure Google has the same business strategy. Because of this I don't see them ever offering immediate payment, whether it be to your Adwords account or your bank account.

Maybe they will someday allow you to transfer your funds from adsense to adwords, but this would only be after the holding period, which would be nearly the same as waiting to receive your check. Plus how much additional money do they continue to make until you actually cash your check.
