Just a stupid question :D Is this possible???

I'm just new to this Adsense stuff and i have a question to ask from the experts.

I want to know if this is possible:

Can some person put ads on his website and then use a proxy and click on his own ads (from the same IP/Computer using a proxy)???Is this possible?

Surely i wouldn't do such because i don't want to get banned from Adsense,but if it is possible that would be cheating!

You can do it once just to check the amount you get, but right after you do it, Google will send you a warning, and no matter you do it will get to you if you continue doing it!

SO be careful, you really dont want to play with google!

you will be banned soon if you do that. google is so smart that it will kick you even if you think you are fooling them. so dont worry never click on there ads or tell your friends to do it

But still,how can Google ban you if you click your own ads using a proxy?Google can't find who it is,or can they?

 

Don't even think about it. Google is not that stupid. They can detect fraud clicks via proxy.

 

They know the proxies, they always have a list with them. Plus most likely one would not pay attention to time of click (5 clicks in the same hours every day would be suspicious), browsers (all clicks coming from Firefox for example would be susceptible), plus one would need to clear the cookies and cache all the time.

Simply not worth. They will find it

 

Oh so no one can cheat! Wow! i thought a proxy helps us browse anonymously but not in this case

Why even think about click your ads, sure go click those ads and it won't take long for the ban wagon to stop and pick you right up. Thats a real stupid question on your part if you are looking to make money with them. You are not smarter than google. I just love these threads.

 

Well, just try it. When you get banned, don't you even try posting "Why my account is banned" threads.

Why don't you try it and tell us how it goes? I'm sure there are many people wondering the same thing, and all the answer above is mostlikely a speculative answer because not many people actually tried it before.

 

Don't do it. Seriously. Google's machine is smart enough to catch any click fraud.

Don ever think of doing some thing like that!!
Google can catch you with in no time!!
