just a small seo tip

    nothing big but just a small SEO tip I have decided to share with you guys.

    when designing a website, if you plan to use flash, try not to make all your website flash-based as a search engine robot will not catch these links. same thing goes with images. robot's don't catch the text placed in an image meaning, that you placed that text when creating the image. text links are better.

    you can pass along meaning to the search engine with images by using alt text. :)

    General knowledge that search engines can only read text, not java applets or flash :p

    Unfortunatly alt text holds very little water these days as a result of keyword stuffing. They are still crucial for usability, but don't expect much from them in the way of SEO.

    Thanks for the tips, Vizuke :)

    One alternative is to include a set of text-based navigation links at the footer of the site if Flash-powered menu must be used..
