Hi, I am new to the forums and have been trying to build my own forum with information on hifi. Is there aryone here that can give me any suggestions on how to do this? Honestly, I am not computer savy and really dont understand the whole process with hosting, web design, etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I also wanted to say that I love this forum. It's layout is so nice and functional. I really wish that I could have something this nice for myself. Thanks
My suggestions are as follows: 1. Consider what types of forum script you prefer to use you can try to find some forums online that looks okay for you and find out which types of script this particular forum is using on the bottom of the site...e.g. Power by xxxxx 2. Decide a domain name of course after keyword research There are a wide range of keyword research tools available on the internet, I personal like Market Samurai Best but that costs money. Alternately, you can just type keyword research tool using google, you would find what you need! 2. Consider getting a reliable hosting company with Cpanel and with Fantastico Various forum scripts for you to one-click install such as Joomla, Drupal etc...) After one click install, your forum is set to go 3. Getting Support from support forum to configure your forum If you counter problems while configuring your forum, just go to your forum script provider support forum, you can get solutions by just searching around the forum... 4. Customize your forum As for Designing, open source forum scripts usually come with different templates already, if you are not so picky on design, I would recommend you just try to change the logo first, when you start making money with the forum, of course you can hire website designer to customize your forum. 5. Start promoting your forum! Hope that helps!
Step 1: Strip your questions from Yahoo Answers or other answer sites Step 2: Compare those questions' keywords with keywords from Google Adwords Keyword selector tool--keep only questions with decent search volume. Step 3: Reform the questions so they are more SEO friendly AND easier to scan/read Step 4: Hire a team of writers to research the best answers/most supported answers for these. Include sources so your forum posts are credible. Step 5: Instruct the team to post in a CREDIBLE and REALISTIC manner so there's a sense of community on your forum in addition to high quality informative posts Step 6: Viralize your Q + A sessions to other forums. Step 7: Use social media, forums, PR sites, article sites, and other SEO link building tactics to get SE traffic If you or anyone else needs any more free help, just contact me.

I think you can get help free of cost here but if you are looking for fast action then you can hire some for this work and your budget .
You need to get in contact with any experienced webmaster who can help you with the building of forum. The things are quite tactical and you need to have a long term training over this to get a better site built.
