So does this vary a lot with you? And I mean a lot? For example, yesterday on one of my channels I received 9 clicks and $1.12. So far today I have received 3 clicks and $2.11, so thats like 6 times as much earnings per click, yet I have not changed anything since yesterday. Why does this happen?
Earning per click change. One day I earn $0.20 from 5 clicks, and the next day, I earn $1.20 from 5 clicks. I guess its very normal
These are statistics. They have to be based ona lot of data to be significant. You have to have a lot of pageviews and clicks if you want to observe any trend (I'd say more than 5000 UV a day who visit all the pages of your websites, and have more than 100 clicks). You can't do statistics with 6 clicks a day.
Say the top 2 bids for your keyword(s) are $4.00 and $3.50. The third bid is $.15 You're not going to make much money if they don't click the top 2 ads. There's not much you can do about this. This is where the probability thing comes in and you just worry about averages.
