Junior in College hoping to learn

Hey everone, my name is Shey and I'm currently residing in South Alabama. I go to a university studying Chemistry and Mathematics and am currently a Junior. I have been interested in Internet Marketing for awhile but just recently wanted to make more of an effort to get serious with it since I have some free time on my hands. I hope I learn a lot here and if I don't make a dime, at least I know I will have fun trying.

I want you to do well , dont panic or kill yourself if you dont make a dime. U will do great and theres lots to learn. Take it day by day. When you see thread and people mention something such as backlinks or cpa (thats cost per action), and you dont know what we are talking about,

dont worry, ask what the convo is about and we will all explain to you buddy! there are lots of youtube vids also on somethings ok?

The best tips I can give you are: DONT GIVE UP!!!!!!, Winners never quit, quitters never WIN! , Work smarter not harder!

If anyone tells you off that you wont make money online or to get a real job, IGNORE THEM, let that be the fuel that keeps you going just like ive done. Now if people wanna laugh, like in my fam It doesnt bother me. its like I dont expect them to know better. Glad your here, ull be glad and proud of yourself when you know the possibilities in the IM world.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all of the responses. I have been doing a lot of research and am still looking for the right program to start with. I have already done some work with squidoo (mainly just writing articles for their own sake though, not really using them for marketing purposes) but I think I can use my knowledge with article writing on there to drive traffic to my actual profitable venues. I have also looked into fiverr, and although besides articles I don't think I have much to offer there, for only $5 it seems there are some very valuable SEO/backlink/social network gigs on there that might be worth the investment to get a website off the ground quickly. First and Foremost, welcome to DP this is a great place to learn about IM. Before you get into SEO and buy websites and stuff like that I would recommend you gather information about IM in general first. Knowledge is power and when I first go into IM a while back I made some rookie mistakes because I just rushed into trying to get rich fast, my suggestion is gather information. Good luck on your journey and if you work hard IM will definitely make you some solid income. Cheers!
