Say I have an ebook I want to sell, do I just post it on Clickbank and wait? or is there a method to finding affiliates?

You would find affiliates after testing "in house" and having some conversion stats, I think. Think the process goes something like:

    1. Create product
    2. Test product, gather testimonials and reviews
    3. Refine product if need be or just jump straight into
    4. Promote product on your own or ask for miniature JV to get conversion stats
    5. Begin prelaunch gathering a ton of affiliates and hyping the crap out of your product- post conversion stats (keep tweaking step 4 until you have good enough stats to get people interested)
    6. Fully launch and let things roll from there.

My understanding of the whole product launch, but don't take it as gospel. As for finding affiliates, you're at one of the big pools of them, but you should also post at Warrior's forum, wickedfire, and other internet marketing forums.

    From there it's either

    7a- profit.
7b- join the massive ranks of ebooks that never have made a single sale.

Extensively research, prepare and plan if you'd like to lean towards option a.
