Jump from 70 to 300 clicks but the same Income

    Hello,

    I recently started to put some Link Ads on the top of my site this increased the clicks number with 500%.

    But I earn the same income.

    Are the Links Ads paid less?

    I dont find any reasons for this, this sound strange

    Link ads don't pay anything (initially) they just take the user to a page full of ads, which you'll get paid if they click any of those. If they don't..well, wasted click. Far better to squeeze in one of the other ad formats that actually show ads that will generate revenue on the first click, at least in my experience.

    Are you sureit is true?

    I mean, I dont see any reason for Google to count clicks on Link Units untill they are clicks on the ADS.

    I thought that the clicks represent the clicks on the ads, not on the Link Unit ( step 1 )

    Can anyone confirm this? ( that what I see in adsense panel is clicks on Link Unit( step 1) ( not click on the Ads inside the Links Unit ( Step2) )
